Kaga-Boucha (Japanese Roasted Twig Tea), 0.91 oz

Kaga-Boucha is a specialty tea in the Kaga province where the ancient city, Kanazawa, is located. This aromatic and elegant roasted green tea is made with twigs from the first or second flush of green tea. Tea twigs generally have more sweetness and far less bitterness and astringency than leaves. In Kaga they roast the twigs slowly at low temperatures in order to draw out the beautiful qualities of the twigs. These Kaga-Boucha teabags allows you to appreciate the twig tea’s clean taste and gentle toasty aroma with a sweet bouquet, which is sure to relax you. You can enjoy it hot and cold. Kaga-Boucha comes with 13 individual tea bags.

Put one teabag of Kaga-Boucha into a teacup or mug, gently add 90-150 ml (3-5 oz) hot water, and let it steep for about one minute. You can enjoy a second brew from the same bag as well. If you’d try a cold brew, use 350-500 ml (12-17 oz) cold water for one teabag and let it steep for about three hours.
